The Rise of the Divine Tree Clones: Boruto’s New Age of Threats

Jura – The Leader of the ClonesThe Boruto: Two Blue Vortex saga is breaking new ground with the introduction of one of the most intriguing and menacing threats yet—the Divine Tree Clones. Derived from the Ten-Tails and evolved through Code’s manipulation, these humanoid creatures have rapidly become the centerpiece of the series’ tension, conflict, and mystery. But where did they come from, and what makes them so dangerous?

Birth of the Divine Tree Clones

After the fall of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Code took control of the residual Ten-Tails. Using his Claw Marks, Code split the massive beast into smaller, mindless creatures known as Claw Grimes. These beings initially served as foot soldiers. However, in a terrifying twist of evolution, several of them began consuming humans—triggering a transformation into sentient humanoid entities now known as Shinju Clones or Divine Tree Clones.

These clones, unlike any threat seen before, possess intelligence, individual goals, and frightening power. They aren’t just following orders—they’re creating chaos with intent.

The Leaders of the Shinju: Known Divine Tree Clones

Divine Tree Clones Panel

1. Jura

Considered the de facto leader of the clones, Jura is the closest entity to the original Ten-Tails. Towering in stature with a calm, philosophical demeanor, he seeks to devour Naruto Uzumaki—not just to gain power but to embody the greatest source of chakra. His mere presence strikes fear into even the most elite shinobi. (source)

2. Hidari

Hidari – Rinnegan Wielder

A clone resembling Sasuke Uchiha, Hidari is one of the most unsettling Shinju due to his possession of a Rinnegan. With visual prowess and immense strength, he represents a perfect storm of intellect and raw ability. His personal vendetta seemingly revolves around Boruto and Sarada, making him a lethal adversary with personal stakes. (source)

3. Bug Clone

Less physically imposing but deeply vengeful, this clone was created after consuming Bug—Eida’s former ally. Unlike others, it retains a deep emotional rage and targets Eida specifically. This variation in goals among the clones shows how truly independent and unpredictable they are. (source)

Why the Divine Tree Clones Matter

The Shinju Clones don’t just represent a new enemy—they symbolize an evolution of chakra warfare. Each one mimics their victims not only physically but also in power and technique. Their sentience means they can strategize, plan ambushes, and even manipulate others.

They aren’t pawns; they’re players on the board.

These clones are threatening to shift the balance of power across the entire shinobi world. Their targets—Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto, Eida—are not random. The Divine Tree Clones are after those who hold the keys to legacy, chakra, and the future.

Implications for the Ninja World

Divine Trees Emerging

The very existence of these beings indicates the possibility of a second Ōtsutsuki-style invasion, but this time from creatures that were once man-made. Their rise is ushering in an age where gods, clones, and shinobi collide—and the shinobi world as we know it might not survive the aftermath.

We’re entering a new phase of Boruto where evolution is not about birthright, but transformation—where power can be stolen, adapted, and remixed by any who dare.

Final Thoughts

The Divine Tree Clones are no longer background threats. They are the harbingers of the future—a darker, more chaotic one. As they continue to evolve and gain individuality, their danger multiplies.

Boruto, trained by Kashin Koji and guided by visions of the future, may be the only one capable of decoding and defeating these evolving monsters. But the question remains: can even he keep up with the wrath of gods born from a beast?

Stay tuned as the leaves fall and the vortex grows deeper.
